Mr Jean-Paul Getty

15th December 1892 To 6th June 1976

Jean-Paul was born on December 15 1892 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attended the University of Oxford and after graduating in 1913, Jean-Paul bought and sold oil leases near Tulsa, Oklahoma with the help of his father. He proved to be a gifted entrepreneur and by the age of twenty-four, had made his first million. He then moved his base of operations to California.
