Our father was born on 5th October 1929 in Craigneuk, Wishaw. In 1947 he married my mother Annie McKenna and moved to Holytown. He was the proud father of four daughters, three sons, fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. A schoolteacher by profession he wrote and published many poems the majority of which are contained in his book " A Wheen o' Finnside Verses" based around Stranorlar,Co Donegal,Eire his homeland which he visited annually. He will be sadly missed by all
